WATCH: OTC Hearing Aids FAQs for Your Patients

Now that over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids are available to adults 18 years of age or older with mild-to-moderate hearing loss, ENThealth.org, the Academy’s patient education website, has developed a number of resources to help patients, caregivers, and the public better understand the use of OTC hearing aids. We are introducing a new public-facing video animation to help engage users and highlight some high-level features of OTC hearing aids, which you can view here:

In addition to being available here in the Bulletin, the video will be shared on the Academy’s social media outlets, including ENThealth’s Twitter account @BeENTsmart, and will be featured on our “OTC Hearing Aids FAQs” article webpage, which you can share with your patients who might be considering hearing aids.
