April 16 Is World Voice Day

2026 Wvd 600x400What would the world be like without all the unique voices adding to the global chorus of humanity? Laughter. Discussion. Knowledge sharing. Words of healing. Declarations of love and respect. And, of course, singing.

Every year, April 16 is recognized as World Hearing Day. The American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) has sponsored the observance of World Voice Day since 2003. Otolaryngologists worldwide join together to help recognize, restore, and rejoice in healthy voices.
