2025-2026 Committee Cycle: Applications Open November 1
Prepare now to apply for the 2025-2026 AAO-HNS/F Committee Cycle and shape the future of the specialty.
The Academy has seen a significant rise in applications for committee service over the past few years, reflecting a growing interest among members in contributing to the field. Previously, Academy and Foundation committees were composed of 15 voting, three non-voting, and three consultant members. With the surge in applications, the number of qualified members left unassigned jumped from fewer than 50 to over 150 in 2024.
To address this, the Executive Committee approved an increase in voting members on each committee from 15 to 16, opening the door for approximately 50 additional members to join. This expansion aims to bring fresh expertise, enhance the committees’ impact, and further support the work of the Academy. It’s an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals to engage more deeply with their specialty and contribute to the organization’s success. (Note that no changes are being made to Education Committees.)
