The AAO-HNSF is dedicated to creating and sharing evidence-based clinical practice guidelines in otolaryngology, a goal furthered by the Cochrane Scholars Program. The 2024 Cochrane Scholars Program provides specialized training in the methodology and techniques of conducting systematic literature reviews to AAO-HNS members who apply and are selected to participate. This distinctive learning experience provides scholars with essential skills that can greatly enhance their research capabilities, promoting rigorous studies that can positively influence patient care for patients with otolaryngic conditions and diseases.

This year the 2024 Cochrane Scholars will be attending the Global Evidence Summit, which is scheduled for September 10–13, 2024, in Prague, Czech Republic. This year's event focuses on fostering shared learning and collaboration among partner organizations and participants through integrated evidence-based practice program domains and cross-disciplinary themes. Three exceptional scholars were selected:

Michael J. Brenner, MD, University of Michigan Medical School
Marisa A. Ryan, MD, MPH, University of Utah
Christopher R. Roxbury, MD, MBA, Cleveland Clinic
