AAO-HNS Implicit Bias Video Series
10 educational videos written by physicians for physicians.
Implicit bias can negatively impact the physician-patient relationship, resulting in lack of trust, higher rates of noncompliance, and poor outcomes. To address this challenge, the Academy created 10 videos exploring common examples of implicit bias. Written by practicing physicians, each video depicts, first, an inappropriate and then appropriate interaction. We encourage you to watch these videos and share with your healthcare team. Access the video series at https://www.entnet.org/about-us/diversity-equity-inclusion/implicit-bias-video-series/.
