The first issue of the eNewsletter Professional Development News was released in July with the next issue coming out in October and then to be released quarterly. The aim of the eNewsletter is to keep Members engaged with AcademyU®, your otolaryngology learning source.
The first issue of the eNewsletter Professional Development News was released in July with the next issue coming out in October and then to be released quarterly. The aim of the eNewsletter is to keep Members engaged with AcademyU®, your otolaryngology learning source.
Features include: What’s New with AcademyU®, Featured Education Activities, AcademyU® Resource Share, and Around the Academy.
- What’s New will let you know about the latest happenings within education and important announcements. These might include registration deadlines, new AcademyU® resources, or CME credit information.
- Featured Activities will highlight an activity that can assist you with your professional development goals. These could be both new and current activities that you may want to add to your learning portfolio.
- Resource Share will be an opportunity to share education resources with your colleagues. Submissions for this feature will be solicited from the membership and could range from clinical practice guidelines to journal articles to white papers.
- Around the Academy will share education and knowledge resources available throughout the Academy including Legislative Advocacy, Research and Quality, Health Policy, Member Networks, and Communications.
With the help of the Education Steering Committee Marketing Advisory Group, led by Stacey L. Ishman, MD, MPH, and Catherine R. Lintzenich, MD, Professional Development News will become a vital source for staying up-to-date on Foundation education but, most importantly, your own professional development.
