Join Us at the AAO-HNSF 2026 Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO in Los Angeles

There are many ways to learn. But there is only one Annual Meeting. The spontaneous hallway conversation that changes how you practice. The reunion with a mentor you haven't seen in years. The moment a new idea takes hold and won't let go. These things cannot be replicated online or experienced from a distance. They happen here. In person. Together.

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Annual Meeting Program Committee (AMPC), it is our distinct pleasure to personally invite you to join us in Los Angeles, California, for the upcoming AAO-HNSF 2026 Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO, which will be held October 17-20. This year, we have thoughtfully crafted a dynamic, innovative, and highly engaging program designed specifically for you, our otolaryngology-head and neck surgery community.

Our goal was simple: Create an experience that delivers meaningful, practice-changing education while fostering the connections that make our specialty so strong. The result is an outstanding program that blends cutting-edge science, interactive learning, and unforgettable in-person experiences.

A Program Built for You

This year’s meeting features 500+ education sessions spanning every aspect of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, from foundational updates to the latest advances shaping our field. Whether your focus is clinical practice, research, education, or innovation, there is truly something for everyone.

We are especially excited to continue and expand upon our most popular interactive and high-impact education formats, including:

  • Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Sessions: Dive deep into real-world cases with expert guidance.
  • Pardon the OTO-ruption (PTO): Challenge conventional thinking with these fast-paced, engaging discussions.
  • Wait, Wait … Do Tell Me: This lively, audience-driven format blends education and entertainment.
  • Game Changers: Explore new ideas and emerging innovations.
  • Great Debates: Hear both sides of controversial topics shaping our specialty.
  • Crucial Conversations: Tackle complex issues with thought leaders about the future of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
  • Ask the Experts: You’ll have direct access to leaders in the field, so bring your toughest questions and cases.
  • Simulation Presentations: Take part in hands-on, skills-based learning in a controlled environment.

In addition, don’t miss our ever-popular game-based learning experiences, including the return of OTO Memory and the debut of our exciting new format, Peer Pressure, which is designed to challenge your knowledge and engage you in entirely new ways.

New This Year: OTO Improv
We are especially excited to introduce OTO Improv, a new Monday evening interactive session. In this unique and engaging experience, attendees will learn foundational improvisational skills that translate directly into clinical practice by enhancing communication, adaptability, and presence. These techniques are designed to help you connect more effectively with patients, navigate complex conversations, and foster more meaningful interactions in the clinical setting. All while having fun in a relaxed, collegial environment.

Also New This Year: ENT Pulse
Introducing ENT Pulse, a fresh, high-energy session format designed to keep you at the forefront of rapidly evolving topics in otolaryngology. These concise, fast-paced presentations deliver focused updates, key insights, and practical takeaways you can immediately apply in your practice. ENT Pulse sessions are built for efficiency and impact. These 30-minute sessions are perfect for staying current while maximizing your time at the meeting.

Showcasing the Future of Our Field
The Annual Meeting remains the premier venue for presenting groundbreaking research. Be sure to attend the Scientific Oral and Poster Presentations, where the latest research discoveries and innovations in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery take center stage.

Prioritizing You: Expanded Wellness Zone
We are proud to offer an expanded Wellness Zone, sponsored by sanofi | Regeneron, which provides a dedicated space to recharge, reflect, and focus on your well-being, because taking care of ourselves is essential to caring for our patients.

An Evening You Won’t Want to Miss
And of course, no Annual Meeting would be complete without the Presidents’ Reception. If you thought last year’s reception at Lucas Oil Stadium was outstanding, get ready because this year’s event promises to raise the bar even higher. This is one experience you will not want to miss!

Be There. Nothing Else Compares
While many education opportunities exist, there is simply no substitute for experiencing the Annual Meeting live and in person. From spontaneous hallway conversations to meaningful reunions with colleagues and mentors, the connections you make here are invaluable.

Equally important, many of our most distinctive and engaging programming formats are available only to those who attend in person, making your presence essential to fully experiencing everything the meeting has to offer.

Join Us in Los Angeles
We have built this meeting especially for you with intention, innovation, and a deep commitment to advancing our specialty together. We invite you to be part of it. Registration opens in June!

Reconnect. Learn. Be inspired.

We look forward to welcoming you to Los Angeles.

Sincerely,
Your Annual Meeting Program Committee (AMPC)
