Cancer Immunotherapy: What the Otolaryngologist Needs to Know

Many otolaryngologists are unaware of the indications for cancer immunotherapy and may not refer patients for consideration of this treatment. This new eCourse reviews the benefits of treatment for head and neck cancer patients with recurrent or metastatic disease who have failed standard therapy and how to identify clinical cases where referral for immunotherapy is appropriate. This new course was authored by Nicole C. Schmitt, MD, and Larissa Sweeny, MD, of the AAO-HNSF Head and Neck Surgery Education Committee.
