In 2014, Atlanta saw the downtown opening of three major new attractions—the Center for Civil and Human Rights, the College Football Hall of Fame, and the Chick-fil-A Fan Experience. These new attractions sit adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park and join other entertainment options such as the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola.

One thing in Atlanta hasn’t changed, and that’s how easy it is to get into town. Atlanta is America’s most accessible city with direct, non-stop service to more than 150 destinations in the United States—80 percent of those within a two-hour flight. It’s also the country’s second-busiest airport for international flights.

With all the only-in-Atlanta activities around, you’re sure to work up an appetite. In Atlanta, the dinner table is the city’s social scene, and award-winning chefs are reinventing southern style with locally sourced menus and down-home inspiration. Atlanta serves up dishes from the new kitchen of the old south, putting a new spin on grandma’s traditional favorites.
